HELLO NEW FRIENDS!
I am primarily an Antiracist Public Montessori E2 educator in Chicago AND the mother of a stunning fluffy house bunny. I wear those badges proudly! I am also a craft-obsessive human who has always found comfort in creating things with my hands. Making brings me immense joy. I love the feeling of creating something and seeing it in its home, loved by someone.
While I have never desired to monetize my hobbies, wanting to preserve the pressure-free and joyful retreat, I am at a place where I want to share the things I create. This is a new endeavor of mine. I am planning on using this space to share projects and help for some of them new homes. They will range from textile art to whatever else my hands decide they wish to bring to life
I want things I make to be accessible, but I also want to honor my time, labor, and skills. , should I make any pieces available for purchase? They will be available so on the sliding scale or a work trade. I will also use auctions to fund mutual aid efforts that will help folx give to their community while also having a chance at winning a piece that may not be accessible otherwise.
I hand sew every single item in my home sewing studio using natural linen and cotton produced in an environment-friendly manner. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out!
Until Liberation,
Adrienne
