I envision a place where you can learn, socialize, and unleash your creativity. Whether you are taking workshops or just want access to a communal sewing space. This dream is still in its early stages, but I am eager to give you a taste of what's to come! Join me for SIP & SEW POP-UPS throughout the beautiful city of Chicago.
WHATS IS SIP & SEW?
My mission with Sip & Sew Pop-Ups is simple: to introduce people to the joys of sewing! Many of us have been curious about sewing but didn't know where to start. My own sewing journey taught me that sometimes the best way to begin is to dive right in. Sip & Sews offer a safe and welcoming environment to learn the basics of sewing, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and build your confidence in machine sewing. These pop-up workshops are also great for one off activities for those just looking to mix up there weekend. Session lengths will vary based on the project, typically falling within the 3-5 hour range. Workshops will take place in diverse locations across the city, from cozy coffee shops to inspiring art studios and a seasonal mocktail will be provided!
COST & WHAT IT COVERS
The cost of each Sip & Sew Pop-Up covers fabric, supplies, machine usage, space rental, fabric prep and my instruction. Just like the rest of my offerings, I believe in making sewing accessible to everyone, which is why I offer a Sliding Scale Prices will range from $130 to $250, depending on the project and location. I also offer Afterpay to ensure that our workshops are within reach for everyone who wants to join in the sewing fun!
